Some Local Health Boards now commission services and will fund the dispensing of medication into these devices. However, contractors have previously expressed concerns regarding the filling of these devices, some of which were addressed in a CPW communication Click Here

Contractors are advised to consider all issues and are reminded that the final decision to fill any device rests with the professional judgement of the dispensing pharmacist and not with the Health Board or Social Services.
