Community Pharmacy Wales will maximise community pharmacy’s contribution to the health and wellbeing of the population in Wales and deliver a sustainable future for pharmacy contractors.
CPW MISSION
The Voice of Community Pharmacy in Wales
Community Pharmacy Wales’ mission is to ensure policy makers, commissioners and fellow health care professionals recognise, and invest appropriately in, the community pharmacy network by:
- Supporting and engaging with contractors to reduce the barriers to optimal delivery of the NHS contract and pharmacy services across Wales
- Evidencing the value of community pharmacy’s role in enhancing the health and wellbeing of the people of Wales
- Demonstrating the advantages of a community pharmacy network that is convenient and accessible for the people of Wales
Seeking collaborative working with other healthcare professionals to enhance the quality of overall healthcare for the people of Wales.
