A key part of working as a pharmacist in Wales is the ability to provide a range of clinical services. For the provision of most of these services it is necessary to train and/or accredit for each specific service, complete the HEIW NCSA (National Clinical Services Accreditation) modules, obtain a NADEX login and sign-up to be able to use the Choose Pharmacy IT Platform, which is the electronic system used for recording/sharing patient records and claiming payments for many of the services. Accreditation for Pharmacist Independent Prescriber services has additional requirements which can be found here.
