Health Committee chair listens to pharmacists
It was a great pleasure for Lloyds Pharmacy in Morriston to welcome Dr Dai Lloyd AM, the newly elected chair of the National Assembly, who met with Wayne Rees and Colleagues from Lloyds and Russell Goodway from Community Pharmacy Wales. The visit on August 9th 2016 was one of the first he had undertaken in the new role and he was particularly keen, as a practicing GP, to discuss how pharmacists can play an increasing role in relieving doctors of unnecessary work linked to medicines. It was a very informed discussion and Dr Lloyd gave CPW an undertaking that the views of pharmacists would be listened to by his new Committee.
