Here for Carers - Yma i Ofalwyr is the National Community Pharmacy Public Health Campaign which will run throughout October 2015.
A new national community pharmacy public health campaign will take place in 714 community pharmacies across Wales throughout June. The campaign will help the 8,000 people in Wales living with Parkinson’s to understand the importance of taking their medication on time.
“Here comes the sun” is a national community pharmacy public health campaign the purpose of which is to raise awareness of the signs and symptoms and the factors which are associated with an increased risk of skin cancer and promote simple measures that people can take to lower their risk.
“Look After Your Eyes” is a national community pharmacy public health campaign focussing on improving public awareness of eye health. It recognises that community pharmacies are an accessible health resource from where patients can receive advice about eye care and be signposted to optometry services. The campaign will be run from Monday 1 July until Wednesday 31 July 2013.
Love Your Lungs is a national community pharmacy public health campaign which will run from Monday 12 November 2012 until Friday 23 November 2012 as one of your contractual public health campaigns. The campaign has full support of the British Lung Foundation Wales, Community Pharmacy Wales, Public Health Wales and all health boards across Wales.
